This Position

We’re looking for a Payroll Analyst/ Accountant to join our growing team. The Payroll Analyst/ Accountant position will work closely with our other accountants and operations personnel and handle day-to-day payroll activities and weekly processing.

 

Responsibilities

  •  Process non-exempt (hourly) payroll in ADP which involves the following:
  • Connecting with Managers to ensure hours are approved by deadline; 
  • Clearing any punch issues in ADP; 
  • Manual importation of incentives 1x a month and;
  • Manual entry of commissions (3 individuals)
  • Assisting Payroll Manager with tax and agency notices – bridging the gap from agency to ADP to ensure all documentation is provided in a timely manner from our end.
  • Assist Payroll Manager with review and distribution of payroll related mail received.
  • Concur administration including clean-up and ongoing processing/maintenance. US based employee data syncs automatically from ADP, the Non-US employee data must be handled manually. 

 

Qualifications

  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • A close observation of accuracy.
  • Ability to handle confidential information.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in commerce or related experience
  • Working knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
  • Working knowledge of payroll taxes and related flings
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, project management and communication skills
  • Flexible to work for all branches of the organization
  • Outstanding ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • 2+ years’ experience in accounting or related field
  • Proficient in Word and Excel
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Able to read and understand technical forms and financial reports
  • Willingness to establish and maintain effective working relationships
