SynQor is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee general accounting operations by controlling and verifying our financial transactions. The Senior Staff Accountant’s primary responsibilities include ensuring accuracy and effectiveness in all of our accounting tasks. Responsibilities:

• Responsible for overseeing the general accounting functions.
• Maintain general ledgers of the corporate and some subsidiaries with FX translations.
• Lead the period-end closing and the global consolidation.
• Perform analytic review for key accounts and provide analysis reports.
• Assist in preparation of internal and external financial reports.
• Review fixed assets activities and ensure the conformity to company policies.
• Assist in maintaining standard cost system and variance analyses.
• Assist various audits and ensure all documentation complies with professional standards and company's procedures.
• Act as a liaison to various departments.
• Lead various projects to meet a wide range of requests from both inside and outside the organization.
• Serve as backup for certain functions in Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable when needed after crossed-training.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting.
• At least 3-5 years experiences in similar role.
• Familiar with all accounting processes; strong knowledge of US GAAP.
• Financial analysis experience is highly desirable.
• CPA or CMA (licensed or candidate) preferred.
• Corporate GL team experience is a plus.
• Oracle experience is preferred.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to perform accounting research and apply to daily practice.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
