    The age-old phrase “communication is key” holds true here at Synergy. We know maintaining good lines of communication, whether to clients or to teammates, is an important element of success. We use Microsoft Office and Teams and to communicate with each other so that coworkers, HR, and your supervisor are just a quick ping away. We look for the balance between over- and under-communicating, making sure we keep meetings and emails focused and to-the-point to respect everyone’s time without omitting important details.

    As the name Synergy itself suggests, we believe that embracing our team’s differences allows us to achieve a greater level of harmony, ultimately strengthening our work. We seek to strengthen and advocate for equality within our very diverse team, making it mandatory that employees participate in several onboarding courses regarding workplace inclusivity. We hold social events to reinforce the culture of community that Synergy is known for and enjoy the chance to know and work alongside one another as equals and peers.

These values have become integral to our company culture, and we bring them to work with us every day as we serve our government customers.   • We are fully enabled to work remotely (as approved by our customers), so that you can work from the comfort of home or from an island in Hawaii, as long as you have Wi-Fi! While working from home comes with benefits like flexible hours, a ridiculously short commute, and better work-life balance, we still hold in-person company picnics and other events each year because we know nothing quite beats face-to-face gatherings. Each team lead is given a quarterly budget for teambuilding so that their team can connect individually. Our culture embodies the true spirit of Synergy, producing a combined effort greater than the sum of our individual efforts.

Work From Home

Work From Home

Almost all of Synergy’s positions allow for 100% remote work, or work from home. Depending on the position and customer, employees may be requested on-site for specific purposes (for example, we may need an IT person to be available at the office for IT support). If you have questions about a specific position’s work from home policy, please contact us!

WFH Programs & Initiatives

  • Health & Wellness Reimbursement

    Full Time Employees

    To help employees strike a work-life balance while working from home, Synergy offers health and wellness reimbursement up to $225 per quarter for full-time employees.

  • Flexible Scheduling

    All Employees

    While Synergists are expected to work during Synergy’s core hours of 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (or otherwise abiding by our customer’s core hours), there is some room for schedule personalization outside of those hours that can be discussed with your supervisor.

  • Flex Time

    Full Time Employees

    Synergy has a flex time policy in place that allows employees to track and use flex time so that they can take time off with approval as needed to make up for any hours needed to meet unusual project demands.

  • Equipment

    All Employees

    Synergy provides company equipment such as laptops, all-in-one devices, monitors, and other equipment as necessary so that employees can effectively do their job from the comfort of home.
