- 3+ years experience in Compensation, Human Resources and/or HRIS required.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required.
- Certified Compensation Professional preferred.
- Must possess exceptional communication skills.
- Must possess strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Must be knowledgeable of state and federal regulations relative to compensation programs.
- Must be proficient in extracting data from HR systems and compiling reports.
Job Responsibilities: What you will do
Collect data and conduct detailed analyses to effectively support and monitor the company's compensation programs and initiatives. Actively participate in, conduct, and review salary surveys to ensure compensation structure remains competitive and aligned with market trends. Collaborate with HR business partners, HRIS teams, and business leaders on compensation strategy and job architecture, while ensuring compliance with audit and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct compensation analyses which support the design, implementation and administration of company compensation programs.
- Participate in targeted 3rd party surveys to assess competitiveness of company compensation packages to other industry related companies.
- Write, revise and maintain job descriptions database and provide consultation to managers in designing, creating and revising job descriptions.
- Ensure compliance of job descriptions with state and federal regulations (FLSA classifications, EEO).
- Perform internal and external pay analysis to determine appropriate salary grades, internal equity and external competitiveness.
- Coordinate and support the company compensation planning tools to ensure maximum utilization and performance.
- Administer pay programs, monitor and maintain compensation plan budgets, prepare reports to be used for modeling and determining cost of potential changes to the compensation plans (relocation, merit, salary ranges, bonus, stock, etc.).
- Create and maintain reports by collecting, analyzing, and collating data.
- Assist in process improvement initiatives to ensure data integrity.
- Maintain a working knowledge of federal, state and local regulations laws that may affect compensation policies.
- Keep abreast of trends and best practices and make recommendations for changes and improvements across enterprise.
- Proactively work to assist others in achieving the organization's objectives.
