Job Responsibilities: What you will do
Ensure that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures align with KNX IT Management defined policies and workflows.
- Assist in the development and continuous improvement of the information security compliance strategy and security control frameworks in accordance with business and regulatory requirements.
- Assist technical team to insure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Review security controls and recommend additional security controls for implementation.
- Conduct audits and reviews of endpoint, network, and system security controls, and manage remediation efforts.
- Conduct security reviews of the network security architecture to identify accesses and assess the risk to these changes.
- Report unresolved network security exposures, misuse of resources, and noncompliance situations using defined escalation processes.
- Assist, as necessary, IT Security to perform security reviews of software and applications proposed for use.
- Identify compliance gaps, process improvements, and risk remediation measures.
- Develop and maintain documentation for applications, systems, and procedures.
- Coordinate bi-annual user access reviews and ensure changes on the folder permissions are made in a timely fashion.
- Revise controls for new or modified computer applications to prevent compliance gaps in policy, procedures, and control design.
- Coordinate quarterly elevated access reviews to ensure access is appropriate.
- Review password configurations and validate adherence to policy requirements.
- Perform duties of Compliance Specialist as needed.
- Proactively work to assist others in achieving the organization's objectives.

Qualifications: What you need to bring
- 5+ years experience network, system admin, technical operations experience required.
- Must possess solid technical skills.
- Must be able to research and solve problems.
- Must possess excellent communication skills.
- Must possess excellent documentation skills.
- Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required.
- Certification preferred.
