Job Responsibilities: What you will do

Ensure that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures align with KNX IT Management defined policies and workflows.

• Assist in the development and continuous improvement of the information security compliance strategy and security control frameworks in accordance with business and regulatory requirements.
• Assist technical team to insure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Review security controls and recommend additional security controls for implementation.
• Conduct audits and reviews of endpoint, network, and system security controls, and manage remediation efforts.
• Conduct security reviews of the network security architecture to identify accesses and assess the risk to these changes.
• Report unresolved network security exposures, misuse of resources, and noncompliance situations using defined escalation processes.
• Assist, as necessary, IT Security to perform security reviews of software and applications proposed for use.
• Identify compliance gaps, process improvements, and risk remediation measures.
• Develop and maintain documentation for applications, systems, and procedures.
• Coordinate bi-annual user access reviews and ensure changes on the folder permissions are made in a timely fashion.
• Revise controls for new or modified computer applications to prevent compliance gaps in policy, procedures, and control design.
• Coordinate quarterly elevated access reviews to ensure access is appropriate.
• Review password configurations and validate adherence to policy requirements.
• Perform duties of Compliance Specialist as needed.
• Proactively work to assist others in achieving the organization's objectives.

Qualifications: What you need to bring

• 5+ years experience network, system admin, technical operations experience required.
• Must possess solid technical skills.
• Must be able to research and solve problems.
• Must possess excellent communication skills.
• Must possess excellent documentation skills.
• Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required.
• Certification preferred.
