Job Responsibilities: What you will do
- Perform functions of assigned area.
- Provide analytical support to assigned project team(s) or department(s).
- Conduct research related to transportation industry as well as assigned project team or department.
- Routinely meet with assigned mentors and/or leaders and provide summary of key take-aways.
- Proactively work to assist others in achieving the organization's objectives.
- Data Analysis & Reporting:
Analyze trailer utilization data to verify equipment return status, identify idle time, and uncover trends that impact cost and efficiency. - Process Improvement:
Assist in developing and refining systems and workflows that improve trailer management, reduce downtime, and enhance accountability. - Operational Support:
Collaborate with team members to source and provide the most efficient trailer solutions for power-only loads, ensuring timely and cost-effective operations. - Carrier Compliance:
Support efforts to monitor and hold carriers accountable for trailer misuse, helping maintain operational integrity and cost control. - Research & Innovation:
Conduct research on industry best practices and emerging technologies to recommend improvements in trailer management and logistics processes. - Leadership Interaction:
Routinely meet with mentors and leaders to share insights, present findings, and contribute ideas that drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications: What you need to bring
- Transportation industry experience preferred.
- Must possess desire to learn and grow in knowledge of the transportation industry and company.
- Must be flexible and able to quickly grasp and apply new information and/or concepts.
- Must possess excellent and professional communication skills.
- Must possess basic understanding of business terminology.
- Must possess strong organizational skills.
- Must be able to work effectively in a team environment.
- Completion of 70% of undergraduate course work in business related Bachelor's degree (Accounting, Finance, Logistics) required.
Pay Range: $17-$22 hourly
