Job Responsibilities: What you will do

Conducts audits of driver qualification files to assess effectiveness of controls, accuracy of records, and efficiency of operations.

  • Audits driver qualification files to ensure compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR) and compliance with company hiring criteria. This is achieved by ensuring the driver qualification file is accurate, legible, and complete.
  • Reviews Processor's work to ensure accuracy.
  • Assesses the proper accountability for improper or missing Driver Qualification documentation and assess the proper accountability for the hiring of unqualified drivers.
  • Analyzes data obtained for evidence of deficiencies in controls, duplication of effort, fraud, or lack of compliance with laws, government regulations, and leadership policies or procedures.
  • Prepares and submits audit findings and makes recommendations to leadership.
  • Performs audits of scanned driver qualification files.
  • Prepares reports detailing efficiences and deficiencies of DQ files audited.
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner which facilitates the success of business operations in order to meet company demands and expectations.
  • May perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications: What you need to bring

  • One year data entry experience preferably within the Transportation industry.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite; detail oriented; strong written and verbal communication skills; analytical, positive attitude, and highly motivated.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
