Neuro-Ophthalmology
Description
Palo Alto Foundation Medical Group is seeking a full-time board-certified, or board-eligible Neuro-Ophthalmology physician.
Location: Palo Alto, CA
Position details:
The physician will primarily cover a large, established neuro-ophthalmology service at the Palo Alto Medical Foundation, with clinics in Palo Alto, San Carlos, and Mountain View locations in the Department of Ophthalmology. The practice cares for adults and children with vision loss and eye movement disorders resulting from neurological conditions. The neuro-ophthalmology clinic draws from our large internal referral base and attracts complex outside referrals from clinicians throughout Northern California.
For Ophthalmology-trained candidates with existing expertise, there will be opportunities to develop a robust surgical practice. For Neurology-trained candidates with interest, there is an opportunity to practice general neurology in a primarily outpatient-based practice located at the San Carlos site with minimal inpatient responsibilities.
Qualification(s):
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Ophthalmology or Neurology
- Neuro-Ophthalmology Fellowship
