What we have available:

A great opportunity to learn about the operational side of mortgage. This position will be performing all loan set up functions to ensure a complete and organized file is ready for processing. The Approval Specialist will work directly with the Loan Manager to ensure that all documents needed for processing have been requested and received.

What you would be doing:

  • Complete loan set up within 24-48 hours of receipt.
  • Verify loan file is complete and meets all loan requirements for income, assets, residency etc.
  • Order 3rd party verification documents
  • Assist Loan Manager with follow up for items requested
  • Data entry related to preparation of loan documents
  • Provide back-up as needed for Loan Manager and Greetings Partner

What we need from you:

  • Must be proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook applications.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have a positive attitude.
  • Must be dependable, self-motivated, and require minimal supervision.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Must be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Must be able to organize, prioritize, and manage time.
  • Ability to work full time, 40 hour a week schedule in our branch with potential overtime as required
