Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee daily purchasing operations to meet production and service needs.
- Follow and maintain established purchasing procedures, suggesting improvements when necessary.
- Control and monitor the purchasing budget within assigned limits.
- Negotiate prices, contracts, and delivery terms with national and international suppliers.
- Maintain the supplier database and purchase records.
- Monitor supplier performance and propose actions for cost reduction and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and procurement standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership role within the purchasing area.
- Advanced English level (spoken and written).
- Experience in supplier evaluation and negotiations.
- Experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
- Basic knowledge of Annex 24, IMMEX program, Customs procedures, and INCOTERMS (desirable).
