Manager/Asst. Manager of Sales Engineering
Job Duties and Responsibilities
You’ll be in charge of extra high voltage cable sales for power transmission. Our customers are electric Industries, subcontractors, and other related companies in Philippines. You are expected to ensure our clients' and our own company's needs are met, you'll liaise regularly with other personnel, and colleagues in Japan such as design, engineering, production, and senior company managers.
Your day-to-day tasks are likely to involve:
1) Searching for new clients who could benefit from Power Transmission Related products in Philippine.
2) Travelling to visit potential clients
3) Establishing new, and maintaining existing, relationships with customers
4) Managing and interpreting customer requirements
5) Persuading clients that a product or service will best satisfy their needs
6) Help your management by calculating client quotations
7) Negotiating tender and contract terms
8) Negotiating and closing sales by agreeing terms and conditions
9) Offering after-sales support services
10) Administering client accounts
11) Analyzing costs and sales
12) Preparing reports for head office
13) Meeting sales targets
14) Recording and maintaining client contact data
15) Coordinating sales projects
16) Supporting marketing by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events
17) Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product will meet client needs
18) Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education
19) Liaising with other members of the sales team and other technical experts
20) Solving client problems
21) Helping in the design of custom-made products
22) Providing training and producing support material for the sales team
Qualifications
- Min 35 y/o to Max 45 y/o
- Graduate or Undergraduate
- Available to work in Makati, Philippines
- Available to go for business trip to customers’ location
- Technical background, electrical or power (preferable)
- Sound judgement and good business sense
- Team-work oriented
- The ability to build relationships with clients quickly
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Japanese ability (preferable)
- Independence
- A full driving license
- Compliance in laws and regulations in Japan, Philippines and SEI Group
