We are looking for a Junior Coordinator (m/f/d) to join our Central Functions and Purchasing & Logistics teams.
Type of contract: Long term contract / Permanent
Place of work: Wiesbaden
Start Date: As soon as possible / or by agreement
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- This role supports two departments, the Central Functions department and the Purchasing & Logistics department (P&L), with an allocation of approx. 50% to each
- Coordinating office administration activities including office management, purchasing office equipment and supplies, liaison for facility management, incoming and outgoing mail, organizing and filing documents
- Supporting the organization of company social events and annual tasks
- Assisting the P&L team in executing internal procurement activities, including quotations, contract negotiation and execution, purchasing, delivery management, and receipt confirmation
- Collaborating with the P&L team to ensure optimal procurement (cost, quality, and delivery) through market and data analysis, supplier evaluation, and negotiations
- Managing compliance and supply chain risks, and strengthening governance
- Providing support to facilitate and strengthen joint procurement activities
- Coordinating process improvements within assigned areas of responsibility
Skills and Experience
- Vocational training or university degree in related fields (e.g., Office Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Purchasing, Procurement)
- Relevant experience in Administration
- Knowledge of MS Office Applications
- Experience in Purchasing is beneficial
- Experience in the Automotive Industry is a plus
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills with a team-oriented spirit
- Fundamental understanding of contracts and commercial transactions is a plus
- Fluent in German and English; Japanese is beneficial
