Director, Business Strategy
Description
- Research and analyze industry and market trends to identify opportunities for growth.
- Build and maintain a network of potential business partners to foster strategic relationships.
- Identify future customer needs and develop plans to meet those needs effectively.
- Collaborate with business partners to create innovative solutions that address customer problems.
- Research and identify potential strategic alliance partners to enhance our market position.
- Identify and evaluate potential M&A candidates to support our growth strategy.
- Propose comprehensive long-term growth plans, including M&A and strategic partnerships, to senior management.
- Act as a consultant to internal departments, providing necessary advice and support to achieve further growth and evolution.
- Provide support to the Hyperscale Data Center account management team.
- Basic understanding of fiber optic cabling, connectorization, and network components.
- Experience working at or with hyperscale data center companies
- Proven experience in strategic business development, market research, and partnership building.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex market data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and propose innovative solutions.
- Experience in identifying and evaluating M&A opportunities.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive change.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in business planning/management activities with hyperscale data centers
- Work is performed in an office environment and requires the physical and motor skills typical of an office environment, including, but not limited to: prolonged sitting, working on a computer, using telephones, handheld technology and other office equipment, standing, walking and stooping.
- Ability to routinely concentrate, focus and read for general understanding and analytical purposes and ability to communicate effectively.
