Shipping/ Warehouse

Keystone Powdered Metal Company, a Sumitomo Electric Group company, is seeking an experienced full-time Shipping/Warehouse for our Cherryville, NC, location. This person will report to the Production Supervisor

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform operations necessary in the Shipping/Warehouse operations.
  • Within a team environment, perform duties dealing with Packing, Shipping, Finished Goods, and receiving.
  • Accurate perform Audits(Stock, oil, shipping, etc.).
  • Maintain necessary logs and records.
  • Effectively communicate job-related information.
  • Provide active input to continuous improvement.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Must be able to write sufficiently to document the process.
  • Ability to do basic math.

Qualifications

  • Ability to read and write.  Must be able to comprehend procedures, process documents, and work instructions.
  • Must be able to write sufficiently to document the process
  • Ability to do basic math with fractions and decimals
  • Use and understand appropriate computer functions.
  • Thorough Knowledge os all applicable process documentation.

Compensation may vary depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, competencies, and location. Base pay is one part of the total compensation and benefits package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
