Description

• Receive PO from GPP Plants and release weekly purchase orders to assigned vendor base as required. And also, working with Honda DSPS planner & RM operation team, support the Honda supply parts' physical check as needed.
• Review, release and interpret forecast information to assigned vendor base. Review backorders and issuance of Supplier Delivery Non Conformance and Payment Deduction Notice to Vendor base.
• Follow up of new model vehicles and placement of prototype orders for trial and mass production startups. Follow up of build out models and keeping obsolescence to zero or minimum quantities also required.
• Inform Plants of material arrivals and advise of any potential problems there production can encounter. Generation of forecast report, inventory report, obsolescence control, downtime and others are needed.
• Manage KPI points (Air Freight, Backorders, and Obsolescence) and minimize abnormal cost.
• Assigning of carriers (Trancy, Yusen, Kintetsu) when expediting. Tracking and follow up of shipments is required to avoid downtime at Plants.
• Flexible work schedule due to GPP Plants' hours of operation as needed.
• Travel to suppliers are needed for communication and streamlining of the various preparation phases. This may be required anywhere from 0-5 days per week, depending on the needs of the company.
• Problem Solving Techniques to include Kaizen Focus. Other duties are needed.

• Working of knowledge of MS Office such as word, excel and power point programs.
• Bachelor’s Degree or 3 - 5 years’ experience in a related field.
• Knowledge of supply chain management required in order to understand material flow and problem solving.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work with deadlines.
• Positive attitude and team personality.
• Some travel required. (Domestic and International)
