CNC Machine Operator (All Shifts Available!)

Sumitomo Electric Carbide Manufacturing specializes in the manufacturing of high-performance carbide cutting tools. We are looking for CNC Machine Operators to join our growing team.
Any experience working with Walter, Waida, Wire EDM, Fanuc, Sodick, or ANCA is a plus!
Job Duties:
- Operate CNC machines and make offset adjustments
- Learn how to setup CNC machines
- Identify and use the correct tools while maintaining tight measurements and tolerances
- Follow detailed instructions and operating procedures
- Install/change tools and correctly position materials in the CNC machines
- Adjust machine settings and fixtures to ensure the part meets requirements
- Use precision measuring equipment to inspect finished parts
- Read part drawings/blue prints
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic math, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift 25 pounds
- Ability to communicate effectively and follow directions
- Experience with G&M Code is a plus but not required
- Candidates with previous experience operation CNC grinding equipment (Walter, Waida, Wire EDM, Fanuc, Sodick, ANCA) is a plus but not required
