 Suffolk University’s Sawyer Business School invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Business Analytics at the assistant professor level in the Information Systems and Operations Management (ISOM) Department, beginning July 2025.

Position Overview:

This faculty position involves teaching five courses per academic year, with a one-course reduction during the first year. Faculty are expected to engage in student advising and mentoring, maintain a strong research and publication agenda, and actively participate in the life of the department, college, and university through committee work and other service roles.

We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:

 

Required qualifications:

       A completed or nearly completed Ph.D. in Business Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, Operation Management, or related areas from an AACSB-accredited institution or equivalent (by August 31, 2024).

       Experience designing and delivering courses in business analytics at undergraduate and/or graduate levels, with a focus on hands-on exercises and real-world applications.

       Demonstrated expertise in business analytics, artificial intelligence, data visualization, machine learning, and programming languages such as R, Python, or SQL. Knowledge of Cybersecurity is a plus.

       Strong potential for teaching excellence and impactful research.
