Associate Director of Marketing and Operations
Description
This position executes new initiatives and projects initiated by the SBS leadership team to achieve the perceived goals and outcomes. These initiatives and projects not only span a wide range from marketing and branding needs, academic operations, to accreditations, but also require significant data collection, analysis, and visualization. This position requires close and effective collaborations within and outside SBS, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to quickly understand the scope and needs of each task, connect the dots, and how the tasks are aligned with the School's goals.
Primary Responsibilities:
Academic Operations and Data Analytics:
1) Assessment related: (i) maintaining assessment related documents; (ii) setting up assessment schedules and informing relevant course instructors/coordinators each semester; (iii) collecting assessment data, sorting, organizing, and analyzing data; and (iv) preparing executive summary report each semester and communicating with UPCC and GPCC and the academic leadership team. Assist the Associate Deans to integrate digital and emerging AI technologies in learning and competency assessments. 2) Societal impact materials: Collect, track and classify school activities using intelligence and data analytics tools from four areas: (i) faculty’s intellectual contributions; (ii) curriculum; (ii) co-curricular activities; and (iv) community outreaches, and prepare summary reports each year.

Marketing and Communication Execution and Event Management:

Requirements/Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees with preferred training in marketing, business intelligence, and/or data analytics
- Professional experience: Over 5 years of higher-ed experiences in social media, web development/design, student recruiting/advising/retention, and event planning.
- Administrative skills: Advanced proficiency with MS Office and various databases and IT systems/tools as well as AI tools available at Suffolk.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent planner, organizer and problem solver
- Work environment: Interacting with multiple stakeholders internally and certain international communities. Work is broad in scope covering one or more complicated areas. A high degree of design and analytic ability and creative thinking is required to devise new, non-standard approaches to highly intricate, technically complex problems. Hybrid working modality and flexible working hours.
- Personal attributes: (1) Attentive to details and excellent design, planning and organization skills; (2) Proficient with website design, marketing content creation, social media, databases, and data analysis and interpretation; (3) Can communicate effectively with professors, the department chairs, the program directors, and deans; (4) the ability to work effectively with diverse groups and in highly complex and demanding situation; and (5) enthusiastic and curious about new phenomena, eager to learn, and active in taking on initiatives and new responsibilities.
- Hours of Work: full time.
Salary: 67,000.00-76,000.00
