The Assistant/Associate Director of Law Admission provides daily data processing, systems, and data entry support for the Law Admission Office. This position is responsible for the coordination, maintenance, and upkeep of all admissions files and records. This includes handling applicant information throughout the entire application process using institutional systems such as Slate, Workday, and Unite, reviewing applications, and participating in admissions decision-making. This role requires a high level of customer service and exceptional attention to detail to ensure the Law School’s enrollment needs are met in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner.

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Prior experience in higher education admissions, enrollment management, or related administrative roles preferred
  • Previous experience using a CRM (Slate, Workday, and/or Unite experience a plus)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong time management skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet frequent, strict deadlines
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Fully in-office position

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provides administrative and operational support through timely, courteous, and professional communication with all prospective students who contact Law Admission by phone, email, or in person. This includes managing the office email inbox and admissions voicemail, responding promptly and professionally to inquiries, and routing communications to appropriate admissions staff as needed.
  • Works directly with the Director of Law Admission to ensure accurate, complete, and up-to-date admissions records across university systems. This includes maintaining applicant records in Unite, Workday, and Slate, gathering and validating data, and ensuring accurate data flow and synchronization between systems.
  • Participates in system conversions, upgrades, and testing initiatives as needed, and documents updated admissions procedures throughout these processes.
  • Performs timely and accurate uploading, indexing, and routing of applicant materials within the admissions file management system. Ensures files are complete and prepared for review by the Admissions Committee. Supports the timely and accurate communication of admissions decisions.
  • Reviews and evaluates assigned law school applications in accordance with institutional policies and admissions guidelines, and participates in the admissions decision-making process.
  • Provides administrative and operational support to the Dean of Law Admission and other admissions leadership, particularly during peak recruitment and application cycles. This includes monitoring applicant issues, supporting timely applicant communications, coordinating recruitment travel logistics, and reconciling corporate credit card expenses on a monthly basis.
  • Assists with the planning, booking, updating, and shipping of materials (as applicable) for recruitment and other events; tracks contacts and records associated with recruitment initiatives.
  • Performs additional duties and supports special projects for admissions leadership as assigned.

Salary Range: $46,875.00 - $78,125.00
