Description

The History, Language and Global Culture department seeks a candidate for an adjunct position. This instructor will be asked to teach one or two courses at the beginning level. The individual we seek will be tasked with creating an inclusive approach that better represents our collective history and contemporary world. Faculty members who teach in the History, Language, and Global Culture department come from a variety of disciplines. The department’s beginning level classes in Art History address compelling issues of global interchange and provides a practical and theoretical education that is essential for understanding cross-cultural encounters. The instructor is expected to teach students how to sift evidence, analyze arguments, express themselves orally and in writing and evaluate widely differing cultural interpretations.
