Accounting and Finance Douglassville, Pennsylvania


STV is seeking a Staff Accountant to assist with the following work in our Douglassville, PA office.


  • Maintain data in the fixed asset system and reconcile the data to the general ledger.
  • Ensure proper accounting for leases, including assisting with the implementation of ASC 842.
  • Prepare and post general ledger journal entries.
  • Prepare general ledger account reconciliations.
  • Prepare and analyze financial and operational reports for monthly internal reporting.
  • Prepare selected quarterly/annual tax and census reports.
  • Assist the Internal Audit Manager with corporate compliance reviews for the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) including testing and reporting.
  • Develop an understanding of department processes and suggest ways to improve/simplify.
  • Provide backup support for other areas of accounting.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • Bachelor's Degree; Degree in Accounting preferred
  • CPA preferred
  • Minimum of two (2) years of relevant accounting experience; Three (3) or more years of relevant accounting experience is preferred
