What you will do

We are looking for a Lead Analyst to join our energetic and dynamic engineering team in Gurgaon. As a Lead Analyst at Studio Graphene, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between the business domain and customer needs, translating them into precise software requirements. Your deep technical expertise in testing, including the creation of test cases and utilisation of various software testing techniques, will be essential in ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions.

Requirements:

  • Develop comprehensive test strategies and plans for Functional, Integration, Regression and Non Functional testing.

  • Oversee the development and execution of corresponding test cases, ensuring thorough coverage and high-quality outcomes.

  • Perform functional manual testing and work on the automation of the regression suite to reduce regression testing time.

  • Ensure strict adherence to quality standards, proactively track defects and collaborate with developers to resolve issues promptly.

  • Manage and report on various quality KPIs and publish quality reports to all stakeholders.

  • Publish the test reports on assigned projects of varying sizes, covering both functional and non-functional aspects.

  • Participate in client demos, status, and triage calls, delivering project status for UAT.

  • Assisting the client team with UAT and End-User Testing.

  • Actively contribute to project audits, ensuring compliance and driving process improvements for enhanced project outcomes.

  • Analyse and communicate effectively with developers to clarify requirements/user stories and acceptance criteria.

  • Validate features upon implementation completion to ensure they meet requirements.

  • Measure and report test coverage to ensure comprehensive testing.

  • Identify and escalate potential quality issues promptly according to the defined process.

  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to develop the project quality strategy, prioritising requirements and fleshing out sprint/release plans.

  • Communicate effectively with business stakeholders to gather user feedback and refine requirements.

  • Work with Product Owners to define Acceptance Criteria and the Definition of Done for user stories.

  • Deliver client demos and capture feedback/inputs for continuous improvement.

  • Actively participate in audits, ensuring compliance and driving process improvements for better project outcomes.

  • Continuously learn and stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments, new technologies and best practices and conduct knowledge-sharing sessions with the team.

Experience:

  • At least 6-10 years of relevant experience as a Quality Analyst.

  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.

  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to directly communicate with clients onsite in the UK.

  • Ability to identify and resolve conflict, solid problem-solving skills.

  • Experience in Functional web testing, Mobile app testing, Integration testing, and API testing.

  • Experience in creating test strategies and test plans.

  • Well-versed with various development methodologies like Agile.

Nice to have :

  • Experience in developing automation using scripting and coding languages (Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, Perl etc.).

  • Experience in API testing, understanding of REST API, SOAP or related.

  • Experience with any software test frameworks.

  • Experience with NFR testing like - Performance, Security, SEO, Accessibility, and Analytics.

  • Familiarity with working in a global software team in an agile environment.

  • Effectively capture business requirements to write the user story and acceptance criteria.
