An opportunity has arisen to work within an exciting and vibrant office in this international and rapidly expanding Construction business in the City of London. We are currently recruiting an Accounts Assistant to join our centralized Finance Team who will be responsible for the handling of all Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables supporting both the wider Finance team and the commercial teams.

Job Specification   
  • Pre-qualification compliance on supply chain and set up of new supplier accounts
  • Process all subcontractor and general supplier invoices and ensuring documentation is correctly recorded and allocated to jobs and general overhead
  • Process weekly payment runs via BACS, following company approval processes
  • Reconcile supplier and subcontractor statements
  • Processing monthly expenses and credit cards
  • Processing client invoices and credit control
  • Assisting with year end audit around AP and AR
  • Other adhoc duties as required
  • Assisting FC and Finance Manager when required
The right candidate will have:   
Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role.    
Highly motivated and pro-active self-starter    
Proficient in Excel and IT systems     
Ability to work to tight deadlines    
Good communication skills   
CIS and reverse charging experience preferred   
Construction industry experience preferred but not essential

Salary Range    
  • Desired salary range £30,000 to £32,000
