Spearhead our marketing efforts at Liquid Web's expanding software division StellarWP, where you will shape and drive the strategic vision to enhance brand visibility and accelerate business growth across global markets.

 

In this senior leadership role, you’ll not only create and implement a cutting-edge digital marketing strategy but also inspire and manage a talented team dedicated to transforming our diverse brand websites into thriving digital ecosystems. As a key member of the Stellar leadership team, you will align business priorities with robust marketing initiatives, ensuring dynamic customer engagement and significant market share growth. You’ll be a linchpin in understanding business priorities, aligning them with marketing efforts, and being accountable for driving and reporting results.

 

This is a permanent, full-time, remote position with an annual salary up to $150K.

 
Responsibilities:
  • Lead a dynamic team of directors, including Creative, Outbound Marketing, and Product Marketing, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and high performance.
  • Strategically oversee the marketing department, guiding the Product Marketers across each brand to develop and refine comprehensive campaign strategies that align with overall business goals.
  • Lead the development, launch, and management of digital marketing campaigns, focusing on driving positive, incremental return on ad spend and effectively acquiring new customers.
  • Architect and maintain the marketing technology stack, identifying and leveraging automation opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Design and implement marketing dashboards and campaign reporting tools to provide actionable insights, fostering data-driven decision-making across the marketing team.
  • Continuously monitor, analyze, and share results from various channels and campaigns, identifying best practices and areas for improvement to guide future marketing strategies.
  • Formulate and execute comprehensive tests for creative content and landing pages aimed at enhancing user engagement and improving conversion rate optimization.
  • Collaborate closely with website teams to optimize data and conversion points.
  • Ensure meticulous data capture and integration across marketing campaigns, email marketing, website interactions, and analytics platforms to facilitate thorough performance analysis.
  • Lead efforts to uncover digital insights, providing thought leadership and strategic recommendations in a collaborative, cross-functional environment to drive market innovation.
  • Manage and deliver ad hoc projects, including business analysis, customer research, data analysis, reporting, and product improvements, with a particular focus on conversion rate optimization (CRO) testing.
  • Use key business metrics and attribution to track performance and measure KPIs (CAC, LTV, ROAS, churn, retention) to drive growth and revenue.
  • Mentor and develop marketing team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the department.
 
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 15 years experience in digital marketing, with substantial experience in subscription software products.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to manage large distributed teams and significant budgets in a dynamic environment.
  • Highly creative with excellent analytical abilities, backed by experience with advanced CRM and marketing automation platforms.
  • Proven ability to develop strategic plans and successfully execute projects that achieve business goals, including the capability to identify new market opportunities that result in demonstrable brand growth and expansion.
  • Demonstrated success in launching, evaluating, and refining marketing campaigns in an iterative process that emphasizes speed to market and continuous improvement, aligning with the philosophy of 'perfect is the enemy of good.
  • Strong budget management skills, including planning, forecasting, and resource allocation.
  • Experienced in change management and capable of leading marketing transformation initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of effective stakeholder management, including at the executive level.
  • Proven project management expertise and ability to be nimble and balance various complex projects running simultaneously.
  • Up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in digital marketing.
  • Proven experience in implementing successful Digital Marketing efforts to generate customer traffic (e.g., Affiliates, Paid Advertising, SEO, email marketing) as well as real experience with CRO to optimize conversions.
  • Experience collaborating across both technical and non-technical teams to remove roadblocks.
 
Bonus Points:
  • Experience with WordPress and WooCommerce.
  • Email marketing automation expertise with ActiveCampaign.
  • Experience with international marketing and understanding of global market dynamics.
  • Proficient in Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics and Data Studio.
  • Relevant professional certifications in marketing, analytics, or project management.
  • Experience with agile project management methodologies, demonstrating an ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and effectively manage project scopes in a marketing context.
