About the Role:

The Director, Digital Marketing will drive significant revenue growth through new marketing automation methods and digital campaigns. The ideal candidate should understand the purchase funnel and customer journey and be well-versed in the digital space with both hands-on, and strategic experience. They will have held roles in eCommerce, and should possess a balance of analytical, creative, and strategic thinking skills. He/she will partner with our digital marketing agency, global marketing, software marketing and email teams to define, communicate and execute the strategic direction for our SEO, Growth Marketing and Analytics initiatives. You do not have to be an avid gamer, though you should be avidly interested in where the gaming industry is going.


Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Minimum 10 years of experience with a focus on Digital Marketing, SEO & eCommerce
  • A marketing strategist who can utilize data to develop customer segments, automation journeys and engagement/traffic driving strategies
  • Experience with link tracking, conversion pixels/tags, and digital marketing attribution concepts, along with knowledge of website and landing page optimization
  • Tactical experience working with lower-funnel digital channels (Paid Social, Search, Retargeting, Display and Affiliate)
  • Broad understanding of performance marketing and experience driving key metrics (CPM, CPI, CPA, CPC & LTV)
  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently, while also being able to manage direct reports, cross-functional business partners and agency collaborators
  • Experience with website, marketing analytics and CRM tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMRush, Marketing Cloud/Hubspot, etc.)
  • Obsessed with growth and building things while not being afraid to get your hands dirty
  • Persistent and have bias-to-action with a track record of performance
  • A natural leader who is comfortable working in an agile, fast-paced environment
  • A great communicator and team player who has a contagious “can-do” attitude

Experience building and presenting marketing business campaigns

  • Team management experience
  • Working knowledge of eCommerce Platforms: Big Commerce, Demandware, or Shopify Plus
  • Global experience a plus


What You’ll Do

  • Lead Martech exploration efforts in order to implement a marketing automation suite that allows us to maximize lifetime value of consumer relationships through lead generation and retention marketing initiatives
  • Drive new customer acquisition growth through campaign activation across paid and owned channels
  • Own customer data collection and management to support personalization, analytics, and CRM activations
  • Develop sophisticated cross-channel consumer journeys to achieve specific business objectives (first time purchase, repeat customer, new product launch activations, etc.)
  • Develop scalable, personalized, automated marketing campaigns. Continuously analyze, personalize, and A/B test marketing campaigns
  • Create lead capture forms and landing pages to support lead and demand generation programs, to successfully reach new customers and expand revenue growth within existing customer base
  • Create meaningful database segmentation so we can tailor campaign and program messages for targeted audiences across specific market segments
  • Responsible for system/data integration to improve marketing automations and ensure their successful implementation with marketing technologies and data sources.
  • Manage, collect and report digital marketing KPIs; present business updates, including analytics/KPIs, budgets and forecasting.
  • Oversee SEO strategy and execution plan
  • Manage and develop a growing team of direct reports
  • Manage Digital Marketing Agency and lower funnel performance programs, with the long-term goal of transitioning some PPC, Display/Retargeting and Affiliate activities in-house
