SteelSeries is looking for a Copywriter with impeccable attention detail and strong writing skills to make sure that all of our messaging is clear and united at every point of communication. The copywriter is responsible for working across teams to organize and support messaging for products and campaigns, and then serves as the steward for that messaging, ensuring its correct usage and representation on every platform.

The ideal candidate will have technical writing experience in consumer electronics, ideally with audio products, as well as an engaging narrative style to tell the story of our brand.


  • Organize and update core messaging documents for all products and campaigns
  • Support global marketing and creative teams in applying product and campaign messaging on all platforms (including social campaigns, press releases, blogs, emails, and advertising assets)
  • Support brand managers in the creation and application of product messaging across sell-in decks, PDPs, packaging, Amazon, etc.
  • Draft copy and concept tests for research
  • Field tickets and requests for copy and copyediting across global marketing, software, dot com, and product (everything from homepage headlines to email newsletters)
  • Contribute to and copyedit the SteelSeries blog
  • Improve copy decisions by applying marketing analytics and learnings
  • Reduce mistakes and inconsistencies by maintaining processes for review and approval

Necessary Skills

  • 2-3 years’ experience in a position that required regular customer-facing written communication, experience with technical writing or consumer electronics preferred
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with an eye for maintaining consistent tone and specs in copy across platforms
  • Fluency in AP style preferred
  • An understanding and passion for our products
  • Ability to prioritize and track projects
  • Ability to communicate across teams
  • An understanding and passion for gaming and esports preferred
