The APAC People and Culture Manager will be the primary resource for our employees in the APAC region.  The position contributes to SteelSeries performance by providing tactical and strategic consulting on people and organization development strategies in support of the business objectives.  They will work closely with the Global People and Culture Team, formulate partnerships across the organization and deliver value-added services.

Functional areas will include recruiting support, employment law, benefit administration, employee relations, onboarding, compliance, employee development, facilities/office management and more.

People and Culture Responsibilities:

  • Act as point of contact for employee support and leading regional meetings and events
  • Be a senior partner with the APAC talent acquisition needs. Work closely with our Global Talent Acquisition team to provide the necessary support for the APAC region
  • Assists with the process design and implementation of strategic initiatives
  • Manages our HRIS and utilizes this platform and other HR-specific technologies to solve business challenges and enhance internal workflows
  • Acts as change agent and culture champion that support changes and transformation as SteelSeries continues to grow
  • Write contracts for promotions, transfers, and new hires in collaboration with department management
  • Responsible for ensuring employees are on and off boarded in a seamless and professional manner and ensure all compliance requirements are met
  • Leads the APAC annual programs to include performance management; merit and bonus awards; benefits enrollment; etc.
  • Find ways to build morale, improve workplace relationships, and boost productivity and retention
  • Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the People and Culture group to develop solutions, programs, and policies
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required
  • Provides policy guidance and interpretation
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
  • Supports SteelSeries employee insurance set-up and management for APAC region
  • In charge of facilities management and security regulation
  • Organize office cleaning, ordering, and all employee supporting needs
  • Organize office events and culture building initiatives
  • Manage labor regulations, benefits, payroll regulations for employees in multiple countries

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

 Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience within the Human Resources discipline
  • Strong knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and employment laws.
