WHY WE NEED YOU:

SteelSeries is experiencing a rapid growth and the journey continues at full speed. SteelSeries purchases and sells products and software globally and the complexity of the tax requirements are growing.

 

We are looking for a dedicated Tax Manager to our Copenhagen office to oversee the global tax area with focus on indirect taxes and to be expanded to cover other tax areas along the road. You will become a trusted advisor in the Finance department, coordinate with advisors and drive tax related projects with a practical approach.

 

You will report to the Chief Accountant, Head of Accounting, Compliance and Tax, who is located in our Copenhagen office.

NECESSARY SKILLS:

  • Relevant educational background on a Master level
  • Professional experience (+5 years) on a practical level from a consultants house or a tax department at an international enterprise with indirect tax as a major
  • Good communication skills in English and Danish both oral and written
  • Experience with communication and filings with Tax Authorities
  • MS Office programs

 

Although not a requirement, it is a plus if you have experience with:

  • Accounting or financial statements
  • Excise duties (punktafgifter)
  • International tax or US sales tax
  • Navision

 

WITHIN 1 MONTH YOU WILL:

  • Settle in and get to know your new colleagues in the global ACT department and Copenhagen office
  • Get introduced to the tasks and the road-map
  • Scope the role together with the Chief Accountant and in-house Tax Consultant

 

WITHIN 3 MONTHS YOU WILL:

  • Lead the current projects and have prepared an overview of the tax area
  • Be the day-to-day internal advisor for the Accounting team
  • Prepare a personal development plan

 

WITHIN 9 MONTHS YOU WILL:

  • Work independently and be the primary contact on tax related questions from the Business
  • Have grown your skills and professional horizon
  • Be responsible for the tax compliance
