SteelSeries is experiencing a rapid growth and the journey continues at full speed. SteelSeries purchases and sells products and software globally and the demand for the Accounting function being a well-oiled machine room is high and necessary to support the growth.

 

We are looking for a dedicated Accounting Manager to be the front runner for the Danish Accounting team in our Copenhagen office. Your responsibilities will, among other things, be to lead the development and execution of the global accounting processes together with the Taiwan Accounting Manager, ensure high quality deliverables, coordinate and be the go-to person for the Audit, ensure team performance and -development and be a trusted advisor for the global organization.

 

The you will become Manager of the Danish Accounting Team, which consists of 5 dedicated and skilled Accountants on various levels.

 

You will report to the Chief Accountant, Head of Accounting, Compliance and Tax, who is located at our Copenhagen office.

NECESSARY SKILLS:

  • Relevant educational background on a Bachelor or Master level
  • Professional experience (+5 years) from accounting and preferably from a similar role
  • Good knowledge of financial reporting standards
  • Good communication skills in English and Danish both oral and written (Group language is English)
  • MS Office programs

 

Although not a requirement, it is a plus if you have experience with:

  • Navision
  • International environment
  • Similar industry
  • Corporate tax

 

WITHIN 1 MONTH YOU WILL:

  • Settle in and get to know your new colleagues in the global ACT department and Copenhagen office
  • Start being introduced to the procedures, tasks and the road-map
  • Start scoping the role with the Team and Chief Accountant

 

WITHIN 3 MONTHS YOU WILL:

  • Lead the month-end process
  • Kick-off process updates
  • Be familiar with recurrent processes and start working on projects

 

WITHIN 9 MONTHS YOU WILL:

  • Work independently with the Team and be the primary contact on accounting related questions from the Business
  • Assume people responsibilities
  • Have an overview of process improvements needs
