Position Summary:

Reporting to the Regional General Manager/VP, this candidate plays a pivotal role to effectively manage the regional sales operations, including sales forecasting, demand planning, order fulfillment, revenue & profit optimization.

This is accomplished by being the key contact and bridge between the Regional Sales & Marketing and Operations teams.

On the Regional side, you will develop a close partnership with country and account management to gain knowledge into customer needs, business performance, marketing and sales strategies, trends and competitive landscape.

On the Operations side, you will develop a close partnership with the Planning and Order Management teams, understanding their processes, timelines and constraints. This will enable you to assist with the achievement of the Regional customer service, sales and profitability goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with regional commercial leadership to gain a deep understanding of the business, including growth and profitability targets, success criteria for new products, market share objectives, new distribution opportunities, etc.
  • Based on this understanding, work with key regional leaders to design and implement initiatives that, with the Operations team, will ensure we have the right product, at the right time in the right place.
  • Initiatives will be formulated based on an aggregation of current forecast performance, organic market growth expectations, market share gains and promotional considerations.
  • Fully understand our supply chain, demand alignment and forecasting processes to achieve Regional objectives. For example, understanding lead times for influencing supply are a critical component of how far ahead plans must be finalized.
  • Develop, implement and manage a clear and precise inventory allocation model across the region, ensuring that regional demand submissions are aligned with goals.
  • Drive the day-to-day dialogue with the Order Management team ensuring that stock allocation model is being followed.
  • Be the main point of contact for brand and product team regarding all NPI forecasting and allocations by the Region prior to launch.
  • Assist with Demand Alignment meetings as the regional Business Partner/representative together with the General Manager, ensuring that regional inputs are being heard, implemented and prioritized.
  • Continuously challenge regional commercial leaders forecasting inputs with deep analysis as well as clear benchmarking and assessment of account planning roll-ups by market/department.


  • You excel at business planning because you are analytical and have a fierce operational mindset.
  • You have a degree in supply chain management or business analysis
  • You have min 5-years’ experience with regional sales operations roles
  • You have excellent Excel skills, in developing complex multi-variate models and in working with IT systems like Tableau
  • As a person, you possess great stakeholder management and communication skills and are able to create relations across borders/time zones. This also enables you to get everyone to deliver on time.
  • You speak and write English fluently – it is a plus if you speak other languages
