Regional E-Commerce & Marketing Manager Job Description

Job Summary

The Regional E-Commerce & Marketing Manager – DACH will be responsible for driving business results by developing and implementing an effective marketing plan, driving brand enhancement, content excellence and market share growth in all sales channels. You will lead all marketing activities in the DACH region, and your responsibility will include channel marketing management as well as brand development, with a focus on digital marketing and new product launch activities.

To be successful in the role, you will need to build strong working relationships with sales- and marketing teams at our channel partners and have monthly meetings with the key stakeholders. You will be expected to travel around 50 days a year in the role.

Overall job purpose

To build SteelSeries into a winning digital and gaming brand in DACH – driving profitable growth via strong ecommerce focus, full marketing funnel ownership, as well as best in class content implementation.

Key tasks

  • Driving profitable growth in accordance with budgets
  • Promotion planning – quarterly and yearly promotion calendar creation and management, budgeting, media mix, ROI analysis with all accounts in DACH
  • Implement and execute retail strategy for key customers, to maximize conversion at POS in store
  • Strategic development and execution of co-marketing campaigns to align with SteelSeries business priorities in channel (paid media, email, social, print, in-store)
  • Manage customer marketing for multiple regional accounts
  • Define digital strategy for etailer websites (content, creative, and media) to improve online stats and sell through via content, syndication, and reviews
  • Evaluate performance results, define KPI’s and optimize when needed to maximize ROI
  • Support new product launch set up on etailer websites
  • Develop and execute regional campaigns and product launches, including managing influencers, PR and paid media
  • Manage digital assets needed to execute best in class product pages for all new product launches
  • Support execution of retail in-store displays

Channel Marketing & Partner Sales

  • Execute the ecommerce co-marketing strategy, prioritizing and finetuning along the way to leverage emerging opportunities
  • Establish six month rolling activation/campaign plans with all key accounts
  • Monitoring and analysing performance, sales, and market trends
  • Implement A+ content and/or adapt existing content to formats that work in each of the UKIE markets and ensure implementation with all key partners to drive maximum consumer reach and sales conversion
  • Share best practise/learnings across EMEA with ecommerce and marketing team

Qualifications

Critical experience

  • Significant ecommerce or retail marketing experience in the DACH market
  • Proven ability to use marketing to drive sell-out and profitable growth
  • Fluent in German and English

Skills

  • Ecommerce- or Retail Marketing Experience: 2 years of ecommerce/retail marketing experience, knowledge of running 3rd party partners would be a plus
