Hotel Acquistions Analyst
Description
Responsibilities may include:
• Develop and maintain financial models and/or underwriting for use in evaluating potential hotel investments;
• Conduct research and due diligence of prospective hotel opportunities including their respective financial and organizational structures, review of legal documentation, analyze past and future performance,
• Evaluation of unit or portfolio acquisition opportunities;
• Carry assigned duties to manage the many facets of bringing a deal to funding, including presentation to final investment committee;
• Possess strong communication skills in which to create concise written presentations
• Assist with asset management including business plan development and exit strategy planning and execution
We seek highly motivated, intelligent candidates with the following qualities:
• 1-2 years of experience in an analytically rigorous Real Estate or Finance environment (preferably with hospitality focus, but not a requirement)
• Evident passion for real estate and desire to build a career on the principal side
• Experience building complex financial models
• Strong creative problem solving skills
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• The ability to work effectively with peers and senior executives in a team-oriented environment
• Self-starter mentality and capacity of accomplishing complicated tasks with limited supervision
• Unwavering attention to detail
