The role: HR Business Partner

We are looking for a HR Business Partner to join our busy and dynamic People Services team, based in our Isle of Man office.

Why we need you: -

We need you to help contribute to the implementation of the local and global HR strategy and partner with local business units to provide HR support. Your role will be to help ensure that HR is a valuable contributor to the local business in achieving its overall vision by working with management on their people strategy. You will coach and empower managers on people relations issues and embed HR excellence locally, utilising resources made available from Group HR.

Working closely with our Talent Acquisition team you will support resourcing plans including participating in interviews to ensure our hiring process is on track. You will coordinate all the necessary paperwork pre on boarding including; work permit applications, offer and contract delivery. You will work to provide a seamless on-boarding support to people joining our business, welcoming them to the business, facilitating their induction and getting their journey started.

You will help support the people managers in reviewing attrition and developing retention initiatives and partner with line managers and strategic partners on talent development plans for their business areas. You will help identify and implement innovative initiatives to drive employee engagement and develop company culture and seek opportunities to build people morale.

You will partner and provide trusted advice on employee relations issues to people managers on company policies and procedures to include attendance management, performance management, disciplinary and grievance issues in a variety of jurisdictions including Isle of Man.You will assist in developing and implementing appropriate HR policies and procedures in line with local governance and Group’s HR strategies. You will focus on providing outstanding support to employees within the locations on day to day HR related matters and coach people managers on best practice when dealing with performance or conduct issues.

Who are we looking for: -

An experienced HR Business Partner or HR Manager used to working in a fast-paced environment. Ideally, you will have a relevant HR professional qualification/ membership and/or proficiency with workday or other HR systems. You should be very familiar with local legislation and have direct experience coaching and supporting people managers.

We are looking for a proactive individual with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. You should be able to work well on your own initiative and know when to call on support when required. You should have excellent listening skills to listen and understand people’s needs and knowing what is important to them whilst being able to deal with challenging situations.

As the ideal candidate, you will have: -

Previous experience gained within a multinational company. Knowledge or experience within the online gaming industry or contact centre environment would be desirable. Any project management experience would be advantageous.
