We are looking for a UX Researcher join our busy and dynamic team based in our Leeds office.

This role will be working on the most critical, strategic projects at the heart of the world’s largest public online gaming business, with funding and opportunities to match our huge ambition.
You will facilitate a culture of innovation by establishing a user centric approach to design ideation and validation.
For you, research doesn’t just mean sitting behind a desk churning numbers all day, it means analysing data to spot product facing opportunities to improve our designs and journeys through the site. It also means you’ll love facilitating user research to really understand what drives our customers. You’ll then be chomping at the bit to share the results which you’ll analyse and present to stakeholders to influence our product managers and designers to iterate our designs.
You’re someone who can spot opportunity in the detail and who isn’t afraid to challenge the status quo based on rational and objective data points and qualitative research. We’ll expect you to look inside and outside the market place for market opportunities in key areas like navigation, feature set and more.
You’ll be an expert in analysing data (qualitative and quantitative) and know how to tell a story with the data to influence your stakeholders. You’ll participate in regular innovation sessions, product reviews, and design sprints.
We’ll be looking for you to keep up to date with latest industry trends and share this with internal communities. You’ll work in a dynamic, collaborative, transparent, non-hierarchal culture and you’ll thrive in a fast-paced, results driven organization and be able to contribute to UX culture and thinking as the team grows.
Who are we looking for:
You will be a strong communicator, capable of building successful relationships with fellow researchers, designers and UX architects, product managers, marketing executives, developers, business analysts and solutions architects. You’ll have expertise in user research, facilitating stakeholder workshops, information architecture, rapid prototyping and testing, allowing you to cover a broad remit across a number of projects.
You’ll have strong exposure to planning, facilitating and analysing field research, e.g. diary studies, contextual interviews as well as expertise in analysing quantitative data to spot opportunities, and be able to analyse results and publish those results in a compelling way with stakeholders.
You’ll be someone with experience in online user research tools and facilitating in-house ‘lab’ and guerrilla style user research that help validate concepts and designs. You are confident in A/B and Multivariate Testing using online tools to drive optimisation, or how you’d use these tools to test the impact of features and design changes.
Ideally you’ll have experience in web analytics for driving conversion / acquisition / retention as well as strong mobile/responsive design experience. You’ll be obsessive about the finer detail, constantly striving for perfection
