Technical Advisor


SRC, Inc. is currently seeking a technical advisor to provide subject matter expertise related to National Air and Space Intelligence Center and overall IMD strategic outlook. This role will coordinate with division leadership to support business growth, provide guidance for strategic initiatives, and advise on the execution of technical activities to meet customer objectives now and in the future. A Top Secret Security Clearance will be required for on-site customer engagements and collaboration with project teams. This role is a part-time position requiring approximately 8 hours per week. Some travel will be necessary; approximately 10%. 
What You’ll Do 
  • Support business development activities, including strategy development, managing customer relationships, and identification of new opportunities 
  • Provide inputs to roadmaps, white papers, and proposals 
  • Advise project management on planning, processes and procedures, best practices, required resources, government regulations and security mandates, and risks and mitigations 
  • Make recommendations on ways to improve team effectiveness and ensure satisfaction with stakeholders 
What You’ll Bring  
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field 
  • 20+ years of experience at NASIC
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with EWIR and SIGINT
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
  • Must be able to meet eligibility requirements for a Security Clearance

Total compensation for this role is market competitive. The anticipated hourly rate for this position based out of Syracuse, NY is estimated at $100/hour. The actual hourly rate will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, and abilities, geographic location as well as other business and organizational needs.
