Test Engineering Technician
- Analyzing collected data in software tools such as MATLAB or Minitab
- Participating in team-based environments for large systems
- Performing integration and testing of new designs
- Generating SQL to collect and analyze manufacturing data
- Perform test station maintenance and repair
- Troubleshooting test hardware and software
- Providing support for production programs
- Generating documentation such as work plans and test reports
- High school diploma or equivalent and training from a technical trade school or military technical school and 5+ years related experience OR Associate’s degree in a technical specialty such as electronics technology and 0+years related experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain accurate electronic records
- Routine and frequent lifting of 50 pounds or more with or without reasonable accommodations
- Must have solid computer skills to include MS Office and Internet browsers
- Possess hands-in experience with RF test equipment including oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum and network analyzers, and RF power meters
- Experience with hardware troubleshooting
- Experience with reading schematics, including RF theory and operation
- Possess mechanical aptitude and have small tool skills
- Experience with printed circuit card assemblies (PCAs)
- Desire to learn new SW programming languages such as LabVIEW or TestStand
- Experience working with programming and databases
- Excellent time management skills and attention to details
- Previous internship experience and interest in pursuing a bachelor’s degree
