SRC, Inc. is currently seeking a Facility Security Officer(FSO)/Contractor Special Security Officer(CSSO) for our Herndon, VA office.  The FSO/CSSO will oversee all aspects of the Company's security program in compliance with the National Industrial Security Program (NISPOM) and ensure 32 CFR Part 117 compliance.

Responsibilities:

•  In this role, you will perform the following functions:
• Manage all functions of industrial security program for small regional office.
• Prepare and conduct security training, briefings, and de-briefings
• Working knowledge of NISS, DISS, e-QIP, and Scattered Castles
• Coordinating and conducting periodic self-inspections related to the activity, information, system, and conditions of the overall security program, to include the Insider Threat program
• Maintain FCL documentation and submission in accordance with DCSA requirements
• Assists in preparing and maintaining the departmental policies, procedures, and manuals
• Processes requests for visits for IC and DoD
• Maintains facility access control and personnel badging
• Investigate incidents and security violations, conduct administrative inquiries (AI), and submit reports as required
• Manage safeguarding requirements for secure work areas
• Establish and maintain Standard Practices and Procedures (SPP)
• Supporting ISSM efforts to implement the system’s security program and policies for assigned areas of responsibility. FSO will be fully integrated into every aspect of the RMF process
• Provide support to Contracts, Proposal Teams, and Human Resources
• Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree and 10 or more years of experience preferred
• Active and current TS/SCI eligibility
• FSO Certification for Possessing Facility
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
• Ability to interact with senior customers and staff
• Experience with SCI requirements a plus
• Experience with Special Access Programs a plus
