Design Support Specialist
SRC is currently seeking a highly motivated design support specialist to support the company’s production programs.

Responsibilities:
- Leading and supporting the testing and troubleshooting of production systems in various configurations
- Working within a cross functional team environment to include software, radar systems, digital, RF, mechanical, and communications systems engineers
- Testing, troubleshooting, and supporting all aspects of hardware design.
- Mechanical and electronic 3D printer operation and support
- Schematic capture, and hardware assembly, integration, and testing
- Assisting with layout in PADS and Altium
- Provide guidance and to program staff, junior engineers, and technicians
- Assist with professional and technical growth of the engineering staff
Requirements:
- Associates degree in an electrical engineering discipline with 6+ years of related experience OR High School Diploma and 10+ years of related experience OR any equivalent combination of education, training, experience (either military or civilian).
- Hands on experience with tools, test equipment and circuit prototyping and evaluation
- Outstanding technical troubleshooting skills
- Enthusiasm for working with and building RF/Microwave hardware in a dynamic team environment.
- Very Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A detailed working knowledge of power supplies and RF electronics (Exciters, receivers, beamformers, antennas, etc.)
- Experience characterizing antenna RF radiation patterns in an anechoic chamber lab environment.
- Experience with engineering design software and layout is a plus (Sonnet, HFSS, ADS)
- Experience with solidworks and 3D printers is a plus
