Staff Accountant
SRC, Inc. is currently seeking a staff accountant. The selected candidate will provide accounting and analytical support for billing general accounting functions. This position reports to the Billing Manager.
What You'll Do
- Produce billing invoices in a commercial and government setting
- Prepare monthly journal entries, account reconciliations and analysis
- Perform other general accounting activities such as Fixed Assets and complete analytical processes
What You'll Bring
- Education: Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Accounting
- Experience: 3+ years of experience
- MBA, CPA or CMA a plus
- Must be able to work independently and have strong problem-solving skills
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel
- Position requires excellent communications skills, and a positive, customer service orientation
- Attention to detail a must
- Exposure to Deltek Costpoint is a plus
- Experience in government billing preferred

Total compensation for this role is market competitive. The anticipated salary range for this position based out of Syracuse, NY is estimated at $60,000 to $69,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, and abilities, geographic location as well as other business and organizational needs.
