Configuration Management Specialist


SRC, Inc. is seeking a Configuration Management Analyst to join the team. The Configuration Management Analyst will ensure accurate, consistent control of product configurations and documentation throughout the product lifecycle. This role manages change processes, maintains configuration data, and supports cross‑functional teams to ensure compliance and product integrity.

What You'll Do

  • Establish and maintain a process ownership model for our ERP (ARAS) system
  • Create and manage a process to define and monitor company standards and to communicate when changes occur
  • Manage and maintain configuration management processes and tools
  • Coordinate Engineering Change Requests/Orders (ECR/ECO)
  • Ensure accuracy of BOMs, drawings, and documentation
  • Maintain configuration baselines and revision histories
  • Support configuration audits and compliance activities
  • Provide CM reporting and support continuous improvement
  • This position follows a hybrid schedule (3-4 days onsite) in Syracuse, NY

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with 2+ years of related experience
    • Any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience can be used in lieu of noted degree and experience
  • Experience with CM practices and PLM/ERP systems
  • Understanding engineering drawings and document control
  • Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills
  • Familiarity with EIA-649, MIL HDBK 61D, ISO 9001 and AS9100 is a plus

Total compensation for this role is market competitive. The anticipated salary range for this position based out of Syracuse, NY is estimated at $85,000 to $95,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, and abilities, geographic location as well as other business and organizational needs.
