Manufacturing Manager, 1st Shift

​​SRCTec, LLC​ is currently seeking a ​a Manufacturing Manager to support our 1st shift operation.  The selected candidate will ​coordinate and manage all production activities for direct hourly personnel and support functions.  This individual will be accountable for the on-time-delivery of products, maintaining production standard times, and achieving all targets for their area of responsibility.  This will include but is not limited to directing the activities of a small to medium team of assemblers and technicians, facilitating the QA function for their program(s), and ensuring engineering support functions are being applied most effectively for their areas of responsibility.  This person will have influence over the cell design/layout and will be the direct point of contact for program personnel and upper management.  The Manufacturing Manager will also work closely with the Planning function to ensure manufacturing orders are released to utilize their work cell most effectively​. 



  • Execute requirements to achieve manufacturing goals and communicate them to key personnel 
  • Generate key metrics and communicate them to Senior and Executive Management; use production data to make objective and informed decisions 
  • Manage and evaluate machine resources to ensure productivity and minimize downtime 
  • Interface with management personnel to maintain production standards, budgets, and cost controls; strive to reduce operating expenses and increase productivity across all product lines within the work cell 
  • Develop and implement operating methods and procedures designed to eliminate operating problems and improve product quality 
  • Communicate any problems or obstacles to Senior Management and collaborate to resolve problems to achieve schedule and cost targets 
  • Oversee a workforce of 5-10 employees in a manufacturing department 
  • Ensure all employees follow industry standard health and safety guidelines 
  • Provide motivation, support and guidance to all employees looking to grow them professionally 
  • Establish workflow policies that enhance speed and efficiency without compromising product safety or integrity 
  • Develop Staffing Plans and create schedules for employees to ensure optimum staffing levels 


Position Requirements: 

  • Education: Bachelors Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or related field 
  • Experience: 5+ years in a Manufacturing environment with 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory position 
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100 and IPC standards 
  • Excellent project management skills 
  • Ability to coach and mentor employees on a one-on-one basis as well as in a group
