Product Manager (Clinical Alert) - Remote (23-45)
Description
- As a member of the product management and strategy team, the PM is responsible for the following:
- Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify, and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth
- Lead the product strategy, vision, and roadmap for our clinical alert and alarm notification solutions
- Collaborate with clinical professionals to understand and analyze the needs and workflows around clinical alerting, including critical test results notification, nurse call systems, patient monitoring alarms, and more
- Create buy-in for the product vision internally and with key external partners
- Develop product pricing and positioning strategies
- Translate product strategy into detailed requirements, user stories, and prototypes
- Ensure the product's compliance with relevant regulatory standards and practices, focusing on alert response policies in healthcare settings
- Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact
- Develop strategies from competitive analysis.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends in clinical procedures, alerting technologies, industry standards and healthcare regulations
- Brief and train internal departments on the aspects they will need in order to do their jobs (e.g.) Sales Engineering, Professional Services, and Support) on new and/or enhanced product features
- Support the go-to-market process and related document creation
- Evaluate promotional plans to ensure that they are consistent with product line strategy and that the message is effectively conveyed
Required Education, Skills, and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, biomedical engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience with Agile-based software development lifecycle, supporting the translation of product requirements to user stories communications and high acuity clinical workflows.
- Applicants must have an understanding of healthcare/clinical integration and standards.
- Applicants must have a working knowledge of Critical Communications and Collaboration software
- Applicants should have a working knowledge of Radiology and Laboratory orders and results workflow communication practices for nursing and physicians
- Applicants must have a deep working knowledge of high acuity nursing workflows
- Applicants must have experience working with multi-disciplinary teams, customers, and general market analysis to develop requirements
- Applicants must have demonstrated documentation and presentation skills
