Role
Splunk is seeking to fill the position of OTC Business Transformation Analyst, working with the Director of OTC Finance Transformation. As the strategic owner of a team that drives innovation and efficiency at scale, you will be supporting Order Management, Billing, Technical Accounting, Revenue Assurance, Revenue Operations, and Credit & Collections. Planning, leading, and completing global, multi-functional, enterprise-wide projects that impact the Finance organization is your passion. The ability to think critically to plan and execute effectively while collaborating across teams and locations will be key to success in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Partner and support Global Process Owners to define the functional execution of key business processes including the technology overlay/enablement of key process steps and process adoption.
- Act as a liaison between business and technology groups to ensure business project requirements are met with innovative and scalable technology solutions.
- Prescreen and qualify requests for changes/enhancements to process and/or technology enablement capabilities.
- Document existing business processes, manage and analyze data, and recommend enhanced processes.
- Provide guidance based on previous experience with business process analysis, organizational change, and other performance improvement.
- Work in a team environment and provide business process expertise to staff engagements and project work streams.
- Maintain inventory of OTC business processes and coordinate updates to the inventory working with the OTC Operations team.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field.
- 4+ years of business experience including 2+ years of accounting experience in revenue or related area, in accordance with a SOX control framework.
- Experience working with a SAP, Netsuite.
- Previous experience driving transformational change in large organizations using process design methodologies.
- Experience with systems implementations (e.g., SAP, Zoura-RevPro, and BI tools for Reporting & Analytics).
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Highly motivated individual who can follow through and work with minimal supervision or direction.
