What will I be doing exactly?
You will lead a horizontal Engineering team that is accountable for introducing new Splunk services into highly compliant boundaries, as well as ensuring a high level of ongoing support and availability. This team will be the effective owner of all of Splunk’s highly compliant product offerings.
Responsibilities:
- Work with peer leaders to establish entrance criteria for highly compliant environments.
- Define and establish rules of engagement for operating and diagnosing services operating inside these environments.
- Use your security and compliance background to influence design and implementation of future Splunk Cloud products.
Requirements:
• Excellent knowledge of the FedRAMP landscape, operating constraints and risk
• Prior experience operating services in a highly compliant and/or constrained environment
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field (Master's Degree preferred); or relevant experience
• Experience building and managing high performance teams
• Experience with big data products and techniques
• Ability to see the big picture and clearly articulate opportunities and challenges
• Experience in building/managing products using latest web technologies - Must be willing to become FedRAMP authorized
- Bonus if you have Splunk experience.
