Splunk is looking for a Global Sr. Wellbeing Manager to join our Global Benefits team (reporting into the Director of Benefits). You will create and lead the strategy for the development, design, implementation, evaluation, metrics/analysis and day to day coordination and management of Splunk’s global wellbeing program initiatives and ongoing programs. You will act as a champion and representative for global wellbeing programs to improve the health of employees; as a wellness management expert; and, creates high visibility and excitement of programs and activities that fits Splunk’s culture and benefits philosophy. You are based near our San Jose or San Francisco office (preferred).
You will analyze and benchmark data and identify trends and best practices to design and develop Splunk’s wellbeing strategy, as well as continually bring new ideas to maintain a competitive edge. You will collect and analyze data to assess opportunities, trends, and outcomes. Conduct ROI analysis and evaluate programs annually to determine if they are meeting objectives and recommend improvements. Managing all these programs includes vendor and invoicing management and regulatory and policy compliance for all plans. This role is also responsible for spearheading and developing a strong benefits communication strategy to highlight and help educate our global employees on the great perks & wellness programs at Splunk. This will require creative and fantastic communication skills, maintaining current and creating/enhancing benefit summaries, working with other team members and outside vendors. You will be responsible for coordinating with global brokers/vendors on the negotiation of renewals, RFPs, benchmarking, survey participation, initiate proposals for scalability (e.g. automation, leveraging Workday/other IT solutions) and improvements in design, administration and cost efficiency. This role also requires that you liaise & collaborate with internal partners relative to administration, communication, budgeting/forecasting, preparing business cases, and ongoing program management, including global HR partners, Recruiting, Payroll, Finance, Legal and Senior Management. Provide Benefits specific support on other Benefits initiatives and programs as required.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 10-12 years of related experience with 7+ of those years in corporate wellness/well-being function.
- Must have corporate wellness/well-being experience.
- Must be creative, passionate and forward-thinking in the area of corporate benefits
- Experience with U.S. benefits, managed care, or health and welfare is desired.
- Strong Program and Vendor Management experience
- Strong customer service and analytical skills and ability to liaise with all levels of the organization
- Ability to work with highly confidential information
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Demonstrates diligence, strong initiative and is self-managed
- Thrives in a fast-paced, high growth environment
- Advanced excel skills
- Proficiency with HR systems, preferably Workday
