Role

Are you passionate about engaging, educating and inspiring employees? Do you have a passion for ensuring employees are fully equipped with the technical aptitude to do their job? We are seeking a Communications Coordinator to join our growing Employee Communications Team based in San Francisco, CA.

In this role, you will help increase awareness and engagement related to the Customer Success team’s technical enablement, education and overall strategy. You will assist in the creation of content and campaigns, utilize Splunk’s intranet and develop impactful internal announcements, presentations and newsletters. You love working in a dynamic environment with multiple deadlines and have a high attention to detail. You are a storyteller and have corporate communications experience.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, proofread and edit employee and enablement communication materials, including presentations, intranet, newsletters and emails.
  • Identify and develop engaging copy to post to the Splunk intranet and enablement portal, refreshing regularly.
  • Support tech enablement and education writers in communicating learning paths, launches and updates.
  • Manage the tech enablement events and editorial calendar (e.g., intranet, employee awareness campaigns, leveraged events, etc.).
  • Assist in crafting and implementing enablement engagement surveys.
  • Maintain and share out reports to measure effectiveness of communications; monitor campaigns to make recommendations to improve our strategies.
  • Support overall communications strategy of the Customer Success team to assist in stakeholder goal of driving adoption and understanding across the organization.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the communications team.

  • Bachelor degree in communications, English or related field.
  • Two years of corporate or employee communications experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid proofreading skills with knowledge of the fundamentals of writing, grammar, syntax.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Technical writing and comprehension skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment while maintaining a positive attitude, sense of humor, and desire to learn.
  • Excellent PowerPoint skills.
