Role

We are looking for a Senior Director of Customer Success Marketing. Are you keen to join a high growth organization at a time of exciting transformation? Do you have a deep passion for inspiring and accelerating customer success? Are you someone who likes to build and scale teams, programs and results? In this role, you will lead all aspects of our Customer Success marketing across onboarding, adoption, and renewals. You will partner across our Marketing and Customer Success organizations to reimagine our customer journey and help build an even bigger community of happy Splunk customers.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategy, team and outcomes for the Customer Success Marketing function and create the programs, tools and accelerators to help customers at all stages of their journey be successful with Splunk
  • Raise reputation and reach across our customer base, and the wider industry, for Splunk’s commitment to world-class customer success
  • Evolve our customers’ post-sale journey across onboarding, adoption and renewals campaigns for Splunk’s Platform, Security and Observability portfolios. Includes dedicated digital platforms to drive education and reach
  • Define and deploy technologies to underpin and scale operations based on proven success
  • Partner closely with our Customer Success teams to align on goals and outcomes critical to enable continued business growth
  • Create new programs and touchpoints that enable customers to increasingly self-serve with Splunk, and engage with each other 

Requirements

  • Strategic thinker who also enjoys getting stuff done
  • Strong executive presence and proven cross-functional collaboration
  • Direct experience in Customer Success / Post Sale Marketing, preferably at a software company
  • Minimum 10+ years experience and exposure to multiple functions in a fast-growing software / tech organization
  • Ability to work in a rapidly changing and dynamic environment and meet deadlines. Effective and versatile with a bias for action and sense of urgency
  • Proven ability to cultivate talent and nurture resources; build and drive extended and disparate teams
  • Consistent cross-functional collaborator, and business partner, directly contributing to teams to achieve overall objectives
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative, and innovative high-growth environment
