Role

In this role, you will be part of a team of product marketing professionals responsible for the positioning, messaging and integrated GTM of Splunk’s solutions targeted at IT organizations and IT professionals. You will learn about and help contribute to thought leadership, launching new solutions, and opening up new market opportunities for Splunk and our partners. You will help define meaningful ways to engage relevant personas and market use cases effectively. You will learn how to navigate market segments and produce the content necessary for the Splunk field organization and partners to drive opportunities. You should have a bias for action, a willingness to learn and a burning desire to win!

This role will focus on our IT product marketing demand generation efforts, which includes researching and determining the best topics to help support ongoing campaign efforts and building tailored content for these activities, such as webinars, collateral, blogs and more.

Responsibilities

  • Help develop and execute demand generation activities to support ongoing campaigns
  • Work across the marketing team to develop content for demand gen activities, which includes webinars, collateral (white papers, ebooks), landing pages, videos, and more
  • Establish relationships with field sales, inside sales, campaigns, professional services and others, working to ensure teams are enabled with marketing materials needed to meet business goals
  • Develop a deep understanding of customers, products and the buyer's journey, relying on this knowledge to guide decisions around demand gen and content

Skill Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor or Graduate degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, Communications, Software Development, Engineering or similar fields
  • Excellent written and oral communication/presentation skills including an ability to create and deliver effective presentations.
  • Must be a self-starter who truly enjoys working in a fast-paced software start-up environment.
  • Knowledge of the IT industry a plus
