Splunk is looking for a SEO and Web Growth expert to guide the direction and structure of our marketing websites with the objectives of optimizing organic traffic, leads, and revenue. This role will also play a critical part in educating our broader team of marketers in modern SEO and SaaS lead-gen methodologies.

We’re looking for a data driven marketer who understands full-funnel digital advertising and how to optimize for every stage of the customer journey. Do you have a passion for continuous improvement and optimization? If so, this could be the ideal position for you.


  • Contribute to Splunk’s short-term and long-term SEO and web growth strategy and planning.
  • Orchestrate site-wide initiatives to increase organic traffic and convert traffic to leads.
  • Coordinate with multiple international SEO agencies and marketing teams to improve traffic and lead flow in multiple languages.
  • Audit existing web pages to identify gaps and propose new content opportunities and existing content optimizations.
  • Maintain, update, expand, and vet keywords and topic pillars.
  • Evangelize and educate key partners in SEO and SaaS growth best practices.


  • 10+ years of experience growing the digital footprint of a SaaS company or product.
  • An expert grasp of SEO strategy and Core Web Vitals.
  • Hands-on experience with SEO tools (e.g., Google Search Console, Ahrefs, BrightEdge, Screaming Frog, Google Analytics, etc.).
  • Familiarity using Google Tag Manager to define conversion data and prove traffic value.
  • Proven experience using web-analytics data to report upon digital marketing initiatives.
  • Prior success optimizing a global, multi-site, multi-language, B2B marketing website.
  • Familiarity working with CMS platforms (Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) a plus).
  • Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to influence and work collaboratively across marketing teams and functions.
  • Familiarity with modern demand generation strategy, SaaS sales metrics, and SaaS sales cycles.
  • Subject matter experience within IT, DevOps, and Cybersecurity a plus.
