Splunk is looking for an individual to join its Treasury Operations team and be one of the first to help us establish our Costa Rica hub. This Analyst role reports into the Sr. Manager of Treasury and will provide operational and analytical support on bank management, cash operations, and insurance workflows. You will partner closely with the global Finance organization to ensure our daily funding requirements are met, evaluate opportunities to increase cash yield, and liquidity reporting is delivered to executive leadership as well as maintaining relationships with our banking counterparties. Candidates will have outstanding partnership and communication skills, handle multiple priorities, possess deep attention to detail, an unrelenting drive to get to the answer, and the ability to thrive in the ambiguity and open space that comes in a fast-growing organization. Candidates will also be required to have strong proficiency in Excel.

Responsibilities: I want to and can do that!

  • Execute daily cash funding needs for operations including intercompany fundings, FX trade execution, and wire remittance
  • Monitor domestic and international daily liquidity levels needed for operations and evaluate opportunities for cash yield
  • Play an integral role in the implementation and testing of the Treasury Management System (TMS)
  • Manage ongoing bank account management and compliance workflows including opening and closing accounts, maintaining user accounts, updating authorized signers, and supporting KYC/AML and other compliance workflows
  • Maintain Treasury policy and procedures documents
  • Support insurance operations including fielding COI and customer/vendor contract negotiation inquiries
  • Develop data controls and introduce improvements to ensure reporting accuracy, consistency, and scalability
  • Prepare ad-hoc analyses for senior leadership on critical business issues

  • Comfortable completing projects requiring individual initiative and flexibility in tight time frames with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated financial acumen broadly across the organization (e.g., understanding of financial statements, chart of accounts, business intelligence, FP&A processes, etc.)
  • Fluency or strong proficiency in English, written and spoken
  • Outstanding software and system skills (e.g., proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets is a must. Experience in SAP ERP a plus)

Education: Got it!

  • Bachelor’s degree is a must, in Finance or Accounting
  • 2-3 years of related experience
  • Professional certifications or progress towards certifications such as CA, CPA, CFA etc. a plus

Base Pay Range

Costa Rica

Base Pay: CRC 11,200,000.00 - 17,600,000.00 per year

Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
